You don’t get any more busy then three major fight cards in one week and that’s what we’ve got here. So here we go with the only review first:

Bellator 106 in Review

Main Event: Michael Chandler vs. Eddie Alvarez

Prediction: Chandler by submission. Result: Alvarez by split decision. One can argue it was a controversial decision but both men fought hard.

Co-main Event: Pat Curran vs. Daniel Straus

Prediction: Straus by decision. Result: Same. Straus used his wrestling against Curran to avenge his loss and become the new champion.

Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal vs. Emanuel Newton

Prediction: King Mo by strikes. Result: Newton by decision. Newton used his superior striking and take down defense to neutralize King Mo.

Joe Riggs vs. Mike Bronzoulis

Prediction: Riggs by strikes. Result: Riggs by decision. Riggs wrestling and ground and pound became the deciding factor in this finale.

Mike Richman vs. Akop Stepanyan

Prediction: Richman by decision. Result: Richman by strikes. Richman was in trouble but was able to come back and knockout Stepanyan.

Overall score: 2/5; 0.4 prediction percentage. 1 for Straus’s win against Pat Curran, 0.5 for Riggs decision, and 0.5 for Richman’s knockout win.

Bellator 107 Predictions

Main Event: Cheick Kongo vs. Peter Graham

Prediction: Graham by strikes. Graham may be a late replacement but he does have the necessary skills to spoil Kongo’s title shot match.

Co-main Event: Joe Warren vs. Travis Marx

Prediction: Travis Marx by submission. I do believe this will be a night of upsets and Marx has the skills to also upset Warren in this finale.

Mikkel Parlo vs. Brennan Ward

Prediction: Mikkel Parlo by strikes. Parlo may have won his last two fights by decision but he is a finisher so it’s likely that’s what he’ll do here.

Patricky Freire vs. Edson Berto

Prediction: Freire by strikes. This is probably Freire’s last chance to get a win or else he may be looking for another MMA promotional home.

UFC Fight for the Troops 3 Predictions

Main Event: Tim Kennedy vs. Rafael Natal

Prediction: Kennedy by submission. Kennedy is no doubt the man to root for as he’s the troop in Fight for the Troops and is highly skilled as well.

Co-main Event: Liz Carmouche vs. Alexis Davis

Prediction: Carmouche by strikes. Carmouche is a finisher without a doubt and her striking is her best asset to say the least in this match up.

Ronny Markes vs. Yoel Romero

Prediction: Markes by decision. Markes has only lost one fight in his career and knows how to win fights so this fight is nothing new at all.

Jorge Masvidal vs. Rustam Khabilov

Prediction: Khabilov by decision. Khabilov is one of several rising stars in the UFC and he’s looking to use Masvidal as a springboard.

Colton Smith vs. Michael Chiesa

Prediction: Chiesa by submission. Chiesa is a submission specialist without a doubt and is looking to continue his success after TUF 15.

UFC Fight Night: Belfort vs. Henderson

Main Event: Vitor Belfort vs. Dan Henderson

Prediction: Henderson by decision. Henderson has been in a lot of wars recently but he needs to win this fight in order to renew his contract.

Co-main Event: Cezar Ferreira vs. Daniel Sarafian

Prediction: Ferreira by strikes. We get to see who the original Ultimate Fighter: Brazil winner probably would have been in this delayed match.

Rafael Cavalcante vs. Igor Pokrajac

Prediction: Pokrajac by strikes. The Cro Cop protege is looking to snap a recent skid so that he can stay in the UFC hopefully.

Paulo Thiago vs. Brandon Thatch

Prediction: Thatch by strikes. Thatch made a splash in his UFC debut when he won knockout of the night honors and could continue on Thiago.

Santiago Ponzinibbio vs. Ryan LaFlare

Prediction: LaFlare by strikes. The undefeated up and comer certainly has potential. However, the question is whether Ponzinibbio will spoil it.

Rony Jason vs. Jeremy Stephens

Prediction: Jason by submission. The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil featherweight winner is undefeated in the UFC and looking to continue the streak.
