This is the first time in a while that only Bellator fight cards are being reviewed and previewed by themselves. So enough said, let’s go into it:

Bellator 114

Main Event: Alexander Shlemenko vs. Brennan Ward

Prediction: Shlemenko by strikes. Result: Shlemenko by submission. Shlemenko is a striker who can submit his opponents when necessary. With his recent contract extension being signed, Shlemenko could be facing a longtime as the Bellator Middleweight Champion.

Co-main Event: Kendall Grove vs. Brett Cooper

Prediction: Cooper by strikes. Result: Same. To be blunt, Bellator’s attempt to give Grove an easy title shot by giving him a short cut to the Middleweight Tournament Finals in one of their smaller four man tournaments backfired rather badly in the first match with Cooper rising.

Desmond Green vs. Will Martinez

Prediction: Green by decision. Result: Same. Desmond Green continues his rise and now finds himself in the finals one win from a title shot.

Daniel Weichel vs. Matt Bessette

Prediction: Bessette by decision. Result: Weichel by decision. Bessette’s upset proved to only be short lived as Weichel got the win now.

Overall score: 3/4; 0.75 prediction percentage. 1 for Cooper’s win, 1 for Green’s win, 0.5 for Shlemenko’s win and 0.5 for Weichel’s win.

Bellator 115

Main Event: Vitaly Minakov vs. Cheick Kongo

Prediction: Minakov by strikes. Minakov is undefeated and while Kongo has more striking experience, Minakov seems to be on a role. However, Kongo is probably going to be his greatest challenge to date and Kongo has had experience on the big stage of the UFC.

Co-main Event: Andrey Koreshkov vs. Sam Oropeza

Prediction: Koreshkov by strikes. The only man Koreshkov lost to in his career is former Bellator Welterweight Champion Ben Askren who is now in One Fighting Championship, which lays a possible easy path to the Bellator Welterweight strap being put on Koreshkov’s waist.

Dan Cramer vs. Jeremy Kimball

Prediction: Cramer by decision. Cramer was set to face Doug Marshall before a suspended forced Marshall to drop out and be replaced by by late replacement Kimball. Cramer definitely has the advantage after having prepared for a more skilled and a more experienced opponent.

Mikkel Parlo vs. Johnny Cisneros

Prediction: Parlo by strikes. Parlo is looking for a rebound win and is the favorite, a win possibly putting him in the next tournament.
