Brock was at the fights at UFC 146. He sat in his seat and looked to be enjoying himself in the guarded yet genuine way he usually appears in public. Sitting in a bar with friends we couldn’t help but speculate whether he was watching the fights as a fan or gauging the depth and talent level of the heavy weight division or even more importantly, contemplating a comeback.

Ariel Helwani from MMA Fighting asked Dana White in the post-fight press conference if Brock was going to return. Dana simply didn’t rule out the chances of a Brock Lesnar comeback and admitted it was a possibility. Currently Brock has a one year contract with the WWE that extends through April.

I’m not a fake wrestling fan but apparently the fake story line Lesnar is playing along with has him suing the WWE and trying to break his contract. Some critics have speculated that Brock’s appearance at UFC 146 was a move by WWE Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon to use the UFC to create hype for his fighter and the WWE. I really hope this is not the case because I hate the WWE already and as an MMA fan I wouldn’t appreciate them trying to bring their red neck soap opera to the UFC.

Right after his highlight real KO of Dave Herman on Saturday night, a fired up Roy “Big Country” Nelson hit the Twitter highway and called out Brock Lesnar. If Brock is flirting with a comeback, at least there is a date waiting on his door step with a corsage. I apologize for the horrible analogy. I promise they will get better with time.
