Final Thoughts:

What a way to end the year. UFC 155 started off slow with Leben and Brunson kicking off the night with a back and forth battle that left Brunson as the victor. The action progressed when Okami proved himself to be a top contender in the middleweight division with his dominant victory over Alan Belcher. Boetsche’s winning streak came to an end at the hands of Philippou, whom is now on a five-fight winning streak. Where will that lead him in the 185# division? The co-main event between Miller and Lauzon was a bloody battle ’til the end. Miller now holds the record for most wins in the lightweight division in the history of the UFC. That fight could be fight of the night or possibly fight of the year. Velasquez snapped Dos Santos’ undefeated winning streak to win back the UFC heavyweight champion title he once held. After 5 rounds of prevailing over Dos Santos, Velasquez is able to secure the victory and pave the road for the UFC in 2013.

Please stay tuned. I will update this page with the post-fight interviews. #mmadocket
