Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate

Ronda Rousey is always in the spotlight and it isn’t surprising when you think about her being the first ever woman’s mma champion, under the UFC’s banner. Woman’s fighting is always a hot topic for debate.

Most recently, Rousey was criticized for making comments about possibly retiring as early as 2 years from now. Many fans and critics wondered why she would leave a career that essentially made her everything she is today, so early. Rousey has obviously reached the pinnacle of mixed martial arts by becoming a champion in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. But she has also landed multiple acting gigs and modeled for ESPN and Maxim.

Ronda responded to critics on twitter, and she made it very clear that she is in complete control of her career and that she will retire whenever she wants to. (Edits were made to explicit content)
