One of the best fights in all mma will happen again. Rua  is set to rematch Dan Henderson at UFC Fight Night 38. This will be the first time the UFC will take place in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. UFC Fight Night 38 will take place March 23 with the main card airing on FOX Sports 1 following prelims that are expected to stream on UFC Fight Pass.

Shogun and Hendo first met in the main event at UFC 139 back in November of 2011. Henderson was awarded the nod via a unanimous victory. The fight was dubbed by many as the 2011 fight of the year. It was a back-and-forth war that left fans on their feet.

It was one of the UFC’s first 5 round main events, and it delivered in stylish fashion. Both men had the upper hands at times, and left it all in the Octagon. Both were extremely exhausted in the later rounds, but kept coming forward.

Shogun beat Brandon Vera after the Hendo loss before going on a two fight losing streak to Alexander Gustafsson and Chael Sonnen. Rua snapped that skid at UFC Fight Night 33 when when he knocked out James Te Huna in the nights co-main event. He picked up “Knockout of the Night” honors for his impressive KO and is set to get back to his winning ways.

Henderson’s last win was actually against Rua in 2011. Henderson has been on the losing end since. Henderson is on a 3 fight losing streak suffering two split decision losses to Lyoto Machida and Rashad Evans.

His most recent loss came by the way of knock out to the UFC’s current middleweight number one contender Vitor Belfort. You can bet that Henderson is ready to get back in the winning column, as Shogun is ready to start up his first winning streak since 2009.
