Tito Ortiz on why Cris “Cyborg” asked for release from the UFC

Cyborg’s manager in Tito Ortiz carried the bad news (good news for Ronda Rousey in my opinion) to Dana White about her desire to be released from her contract with the premier promotion in the sport of MMA.

She is definitely sticking to her guns about needing to fight at 145, and since the weight class doesn’t exist in the UFC, she is planning on finding another home somewhere else in the sport.

Of course this is a tantalizing bit of news for any promotion with a female weight class of 145, much less the first all women’s promotion in Invicta Fighting Championships.
