With the super fight against Anthony Pettis scrapped, Jose Aldo currently has nothing scheduled. The most logical opponent would be former title challenger and current UFC number one contender Chad Mendes in a title rematch. He has certainly earned it in my opinion.

Chad Mendes
Chad Mendes currently has nothing scheduled. One can only assume that he’ll get the title rematch with Jose Aldo as the next logical step. If that is not the case then he should at least get a title contenders match where the winner would get the next crack at champion Aldo.

Ricardo Lamas
Following his title loss to Jose Aldo, Ricardo Lamas can only expect a rebound match. More then likely it’ll be against a top 10 or 15 guy.

Cub Swanson is currently expected to face Jeremy Stephens at UFC Fight Night 43 on June 28th. A win could earn him a possible title shot.
