We finally get a reprieve from the consecutive weeks of UFC events. However, there are still a number of events taking place this weekend:

2014 NCAA Division 1 Wrestling Championships

Taking place from March 20th to 22nd, the NCAA Wrestling Championships is usually the highlight of the college wrestling season. Here champions are literally made and underdog stories become reality. This event is significant for MMA because of the fact that so many MMA greats have participated in the NCAA Championships.

A few notable names includes UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez (2X All-American), UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman (2X All-American), UFC Welterweight Champion Johny Hendricks (2X Champion, 4X All-American), UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture (3X All-American), and UFC Hall of Famer Mark Coleman (Champion, 2X All-American) just to name a few. The tournament will take place at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Broadcast on various ESPN outlets.
