Preliminary Card Results
Featherweight: John Teixeira vs. Fabricio Guerreiro
R1.
Both men measure each other. Teixeira cuts Guerreiro off at the cage and takes the center. The two circle around the cage. Teixeira throws a brief flurry but Guerreiro recovers. Teixeira throws another few shots that affect Guerreiro but not critically. The two continue to cirlce with Teixeira taking center. A brief flurry against the cage leads to nothing. The two continue to circle. Teixeira throws a body shot against the cage but Guerreiro again recovers. Both men continue circling the cage. Again Teixeira throws a flurry. Guerriero grabs Teixeira’s leg and a scramble leads to Guerreiro pushing Teixeira in the clinch against the cage. Teixeira breaks free and again takes the center of the cage. A kick from Guerreiro leads to counter punches from Teixeira. The match is stopped briefly with a cratch shot from Teixeira. Both men continue the same circling pattern with a kick from Teixeira to end the round.
R2.
Once again Teixeira takes the center of the cage. A brief flurry leads to clinch work from Guerreiro. Teixeira breaks away and takes the center of the cage again. A punch leads to a flurry which affects Guerreiro. Both men stand back up and Teixeira again takes the center of the cage. He continues picking his punches against Guerreiro. Both men continue to circle against the cage. A brief kick from Guerreiro leads to a punch from Teixeira which leads to nothing. Teixeira succeeds in taking Guerreiro to the mat from the back. He works into a possible arm triangle to the mount. Teixeira works some ground and pound in. Guerreiro rolls to his stomach and stands up with Teixeira still on his back working for a rear naked choke. Guerreiro slams Teixeira on his head before the round ends.
R3.
Teixeira after some measuring throws a right and left with no affect. Guerreiro cuts Teixeira off and then throws a punch. Teixeira takes the center of the cage again with a body shot. A kick from Guerreiro gains nothing. The two continue back and forth jabs while Teixeira slowly controls Guerreiro on the outside. Teixeira throws a jab but Guerreiro is able to take Teixeira down and throw some ground and pound in the guard. Teixeira is able to stand back up but is taken back down with a head and arm throw. Again Guerreiro implements ground and pound. Guerreiro slowly picks away while Teixeira works to improve. A scramble ensues with Guerreiro throwing ground and pound with knees to end the round.

Lightweight: Rob Sinclair vs. Saad Awad
R1.
Both men measure each other with Awad taking the center of the cage. A punch from Awad leads to a counter punch from Sinclair with nothing definite. Sinclair takes the center of the cage before Awad does again. Awad is able to push Sinclair against the cage with kicks. A flurry leads to a punch from Sinclair which floors Awad but he quickly recovers and stands back up. Awad continues to push Sinclair against the cage. A brief punch from Awad leads to a flurry from Sinclair which doesn’t connect. Awad kicks Sinclair in the head which leads to nothing. The two continue to circle and Awad attempts a take down at the end of the round.
R2.
At the bell Sinclair takes the center of the cage. Awad takes several jabs forcing Sinclair back just slightly. A high kick from Awad leads to a leg kick from Sinclair. Both men continue to measure each other. A brief flurry from Sinclair leads to nothing definite. Awad throws a few punches up against the cage. Awad throws a body kick and throws a flurry. Sinclair clinches and out of desperation tries a takedown. Awad locks in a guillotine but Sinclair is able to survive on top. Sinclair settles into side mount. Awad briefly tries for a side leg choke but fails. Awad circles out and gets on his feet. Both men circle and Awad throws a few punches. Sinclair backs up but is able to throw a leg kick. Awad backs Sinclair up against the cage. A punch from Sinclair has no affect. At the end of the round Sinclair attempts a take down and while on Awad’s back eats a few elbows.
R3.
Both men meet in the middle and hug. Awad takes the center and throws several jabs. Both men telegraphs punches and kicks but don’t follow through. Awad presses Sinclair against the cage. He throws several jabs and a few kicks which don’t connect. Both men throw a few low kicks with no definite outcome. Awad presses Sinclair against the cage again. A brief flurry from Sinclair yields nothing. Awad continues to press Sinclair against the cage. Sinclair throws two punches met by Awad’s leg kick. Sinclair continues to circle as Awad presses him against the cage. Awad throws an accidental crotch shot. Time goes back in and Awad against presses Sinclair. Awad attempts a take down which is countered by Sinclair’s take down attempt and results in Sinclair pressing Awad against the cage. Awad takes Sinclair down and closes out with ground and pound.

Middleweight: Brian Rogers vs. Joey Beltran
R1.
Beltran and Rogers head into the middle and measure each other. Both men throw kicks with no damage to either. Both men also throw brief jabs with no affect. Rogers takes the center and throws a kick followed by a flurry which Beltran moves out of. Rogers continues to take the center of the cage and presses Beltran against the cage. Beltran then takes the cage an throws punches. Rogers again takes the center of the cage. Both men continue to measure each other. They continue to jab back and forth. A brief flurry from Rogers puts Beltran against the cage and Rogers throws more punches but Beltran gets out of it. They continue occasionally punching. Rogers clinches Beltran against the cage and briefly knees him. Rogers continues to be the aggressor and attempts a take down. He clinches Beltran agains the cage and throws some punches. The round ends with a brief kick from Beltran.
R2.
Both men meet in the middle and Rogers again briefly takes the enter of the cage. At one point he presses Beltran against the cage with an attempted flying knee. Roger presses Beltran against the cage with a flurry with no success. Rogers continues to take the center of the cage and one exchange results in en eye poke against Beltran. Rogers takes time. Time continues and Rogers again gets the better of the exchanges. Beltran takes the center of the cage but is pressed by Rogers. Rogers throws more punches and flurries which start to take affect against Beltran. Rogers clinches Beltran against the cage then separates. Rogers continues to get the better of the exchanges with damage against Beltran. The two again separate and Beltran places a good punch against Rogers which rocks him. Beltran continues to throw punches as Rogers is rocky on his feet. Rogers makes the bell.
R3.
Round three starts and Beltran still has the upper hand. A brief kick to the crotch pauses the fight. The match continues with Beltran getting the better of the jabs. Rogers throws a flurry which rocks Beltran. Beltran recovers and meets Rogers in the center. Rogers briefly pushes Beltran against the cage. Rogers takes the center and pushes Beltran against the cage with multiple kicks and punches. One punch from Beltran almost knocks Rogers out but they continue fighting in the middle of the cage. Rogers is unsteady on his feet but both men continue throwing punches. Beltran throws several punches which connect. Rogers clinches which no success. Rogers backs Beltran against the cage and clinches with him. Beltran separates and throws some punches and kicks at the end.
Official decision: Joey Beltran defeats Brian Rogers by majority decision.
Main Card Results
Heavyweight: Tony Johnson vs. Alexander Volkov
R1.
Johnson attempts to take Volkov down but Volkov stands up immediately. Johnson continues to clinch Volkov against the cage throwing dirty boxing. He then throws a flurry before Volkov clinches again. Volkov briefly throws body knees. They briefly come off the wall but Johnson uses a single leg to press Volkov against the cage again. An eye poke results in the fight being paused. Once they continue Johnson throws strong kicks and takes Volkov down. Volkov gives Johnson his back and he goes for a rear naked choke which doesn’t work. Volkov stands up and Johnson clinches with him again. Volkov tries throwing body knees to no effect. The two separate and Volkov briefly tees off on Johnson before the round ends.
R2.
Johnson comes out with a take down but leaves his neck out. Volkov tries to secure a guillotine though it isn’t secure. Johnson gets out but can’t mount an offense. The two simply grapple for a while. Johnson finally tries some elbows to the thigh before Volkov attempts a keylock which forces Johnson to adjust. Volkov stands up and Johnson clinches with him once again. The round end in the clinch against the cage.
R3.
The two meet in the center and throw some punches before Johnson shoot for a single leg take down. Both men then clinch with some dirty boxing done by Johnson. Johnson attempts another take down. The two briefly separate and Volkov attempts some kicks and punches before Johnson clinches with him once again. Johnson locks his hands and briefly lifts Volkov before returning to the cage. Volkov throws some knees before the official separates them. Volkov starts picking his punches with Johnson before he clinches against the cage once again. The two separate and Volkov pulls some punches before Johnson clinches with him again. Johnson utilizes some dirty boxing against the cage. Volkov briefly reverses the clinch against the cage with some knees before the round ends.
Official decision: Tommy Johnson defeats Alexander Volkov by split decision.
Lightweight: Marcin Held vs. Tiger Sarnavskiy
R1.
The round opens with both men meeting in the cage. Held attempts a take down against the cage and Tiger defends. Held dives for an ankle lock and Tiger fights out of it. They pull guard and grapple for while. Held comes out on top and throws some elbows to the body. The two men continue to grapple. Tiger stands up and Held throws up kicks to set up an ankle lock attempt. He looses it but attempts it again and the round comes to an end.
R2.
Again both men meet out in the center and Tiger presses Held against the cage. Tiger kicks Held in the stomach before Held presses him against the cage in a double leg take down attempt against the cage. He switches to a single leg and takes Tiger down in side guard. Held throws some punches to the body with no real effect. He then throws some punches to the face before mounting and returning to guard. The two continue to grapple. Held once again mounts and a scramble results in a reversal leads to Tiger on top in a loose triangle. Held tries for a brief arm bar and ankle lock to no avail. Held then takes Tiger down again and ends up in a loose guillotine. Fight ends here.
R3.
After some brief striking, Held tries for a take down with no success. He drives Tiger against the cage before Tiger come out. The two trade briefly before a scramble leads to a submission for Held.

Middleweight: Joe Schilling vs. Rafael Carvalho
R1.
The two touch gloves and Schilling takes the center of the cage. Schilling presses Rafael againt the cage and a brief exchange ensues. They clinch before Schilling crotch shots Rafael. The fight continues after a brief pause. Schilling throws a high kick which is caught by Rafael. He presses Schilling against the cage in the clinch. Schilling throws some knees and elbows and reverses the clinch briefly. Rafael reverses it back though. They break and Schilling takes the center of the cage. Schilling opens up before being caught again in a kick and taken to the ground. He reverse Rafael to starts ground and pound. Schilling stands Rafael up and the two continue to exchange. The two clinch once again with Schilling trying to be active against the cage. The bout ends against the cage.
R2.
Round two starts with the two meeting in the center and Rafael taking the center of the cage. Schilling mocks Rafael briefly before the two engage in the clinch. Schilling starts kneeing Rafael in the thighs. He then takes Rafael down briefly before attempting a guillotine and being taken down himself. Rafael gets out and engages in Schilling’s half guard. Rafael moves to half mount working for a key lock. Rafael then tries ground and pound. Schilling stands up and Rafael attempts a take down. He then clinches with Schilling against the cage. The fight ends there.
R3.

Rafael reverses the clinch and takes Schilling down with an inside trip. Schilling attempts an ankle lock as does Rafael. Schilling tries to stand up but is taken back down by Rafael. He then side mounts Schilling before Schilling roles to his knees. Rafael attempts ground and pound. Schilling roles out but is still down. Rafael goes into half guard where Schilling tries a guillotine choke. Rafael slips out of the side choke and starts kneeing Schilling buttocks. The fight ends with Schilling on his back.

Lightweight Championship: Will Brooks vs. Dave Jansen
R1.
Both men come out and Jansen initially takes the center and throws punches at Brooks against the cage. He continues the barrage including one spinning back kick that doesn’t connect. The two continue to exchange and Jansen appears to get the better of them. At one point he clinches with knees to Brooks body and head. He continues this against the cage causing Brooks to flinch and break away. Brooks takes center and briefly shows a flurry. Jansen returns to center control and clinches against the cage with knees to the body. Brooks tries to answer with knees of his own. Brooks succeeds in reversing the clinch before both men break away. Brooks gets the better of an exchange before Jansen replies. Both men press against the cage before splitting. The fight ends with both men standing.
R2.
Round two opens with a kick to the crotch from Jansen to Brooks. The fight is paused. The fight continues with Jansen taking the center of the cage briefly. Brooks attempts a flurry and clinches Jansen against the cage. Jansen reverses and starts throwing knees. The two break away from the cage and an exchange takes place with a few head kicks from Brooks. The two clinch against the cage and Jansen throws fists to Brooks thigh. Both men return to the center of the cage where Jansen takes center stage. Brooks takes center stage again and sets up a good exchange with a kick to the head. Jansen clinches and knees Brooks’ thigh. Both men break and Brooks takes the center of the cage. Jansen attempts a high kick which Brooks catches and takes Jansen down. Both men break away and Brooks briefly drops his mouth piece. After they return, Brooks takes the center of the cage but Jansen returns the favor and clinches against the cage. Brooks throws a knee, Jansen throws a fist to the thigh and the round ends.
R3.

Once the fight continues Brooks takes the center of the cage and starts getting the better of the exchanges. Jansen takes center and starts throwing kicks. The two men clinch and the round ends.
R4.
Both men meet in the center of the cage and Brooks takes the center. He throws a kick and then a punch and Jansen attempts a take down. They end up against the cage and Janses re-shoots. They clinch and John McCarthy breaks them up. Brooks gets in a good barrage and Jansen attempts a take down. Brooks then clinches and attempts some dirty boxing. Jansen attempts a guillotine to no avail. Brooks gets a good exchange on the cage and continues to clinch. Jansen breaks away with Brooks completing several combos. They clinch once again against the cage. They break away and Jansen takes center cage. Brooks clinches after another exchange and does dirty boxing to Jansen’s midsection. They break and Brooks follows up with an exchange and a kick to the head. The fight ends in the clinch.
R5.
The fighters meet in the center of the cage and in an exchange Brooks follows up and clinches with Jansen. They engage in some dirty boxing. Both men move up along the cage. John McCarthy breaks them up and Brooks continues to get the better of the exchanges. Both men clinch against the cage again with Brooks attempting dirty boxing. McCarthy breaks them up again and a brief exchange results in another clinch against the cage. They briefly break apart before clinching again with Brooks throwing a knee to the thigh. After they break apart Brooks gets a take down and finishes the round with some ground and pound.
