For the first time in over 3 years, the Ultimate Fighting Championship makes it’s return to the Music City; Nashville, Tennessee for Fox sports 1 Fight Night. Fans at the Bridgestone Arena will be be on their feet Saturday, as former Tennessee Vol Linebacker, Ovince Saint Preux, squares off against former top contender Glover Teixeira in the 5 round main event. Both fighters are top 10 elite strikers in a somewhat thin light heavyweight division. A win on Saturday could place either fighter in a spot to make a run for contention.
In the co-main event, Ultimate Fighter runner-up and surging lightweight star Michael Johnson, takes on 12th ranked Beneil Dariush, who has also been wreaking havoc in the division. Both fighters are riding an impressive four fight win steak, and will look to continue their impressive rise in the division. Saturday’s main card will be nothing short of fireworks!
