Episode 4: Piece of Us
The episode opens with members of Team Dillashaw shaving off part of their body hair to contribute to a birthday card for coach TJ Dillashaw as a birthday present. They also give him a cheese cake.
Later on during a UFC Fight Night viewing, coach Cody Garbrandt comes by The Ultimate Fighter house to hang out with his team members.
Also along with him are his girlfriend “Lunchbox”, UFC featherweight Clay Guida and former UFC Bantamweight Champion Miesha Tate who encourages her gym teammate Johnny Nunez. Julian Lane then starts using his bartending skills and starts mixing drinks making Garbrandt drunk who usually doesn’t drink very much.
At the house later on Hayder Hassan and Dhiego Lima are talking and they mention the fact that they both fight out of American Top Team. Later on he mentions that he doesn’t want to fight Lima with his TUF coaches but if he has to the fight would “be easy”.
During the actual fight, James Krause is able to out strike Johnny Nunez and eventually submit Nunez via a rear naked choke.
For the next fight, American Top Team teammates Hayder Hassan for Team Garbrandt is matched against Team Dillashaw’s Dhiego Lima.
Episode 5: A Brutal Business
Back at the Ultimate Fighter house, Hassan and Lima make it clear that while they are going to be nothing but business for their fight, they will still be friends afterwards.
Later on at the Ultimate Fighter Training Center, coach Garbrandt introduces the fighters to a unique training prep technique wherein a doctor inserts a balloon into the fighters noses and inflates it briefly to open up the nose and allow the fighters to get more oxygen to their brain.
The members of Team Dillashaw later at the house are spending time in the hot tub and reciting poetry which most are not good at but which Jesse Taylor and Gilbert Smith are good at.
Hassan later talks about how his father was a doctor in Iraq who fled the country when his brother was executed members of Saddam Hussein’s regime.
Lima also talks about how he has his own gym with his brother in Georgia.
During the actual fight, Lima controls the fight with his more technical striking and better grappling. The fight goes two rounds and Lima gets the win.
The next fight is announced at Team Dillashaw’s Ramsey Nijem against Team Garbrandt’s Julian Lane.
