The UFC is still a growing sport and still has a great amount of potential. Some believe that with all the injuries, the wrestling-esque story lines, and the fact that certain managers are becoming characters in a “soap opera” like format, the sport must have hit it’s peak. I completely disagree.

Yeah the injury bug seems to be lurking around more than usual and there is a lot of story line drama, but that doesn’t mean the sport going anywhere or even losing it’s fan base. If anything, the fan base will grow further. Do you know how many people to this day still watch televised wrestling? Or how long it has been around?

Then you have a former UFC champion who has hit his peak, doesn’t respect the sport or take it seriously anymore, and a guy who thinks he can still take a punch, talking crap about the company that put him on the UFC map in Rampage Jackson. Jackson recently pulled out of the last scheduled bout on his contract at UFC 153 against Glover Teixeira due to injury.  Of late, he has been very disrespectful to the company.

“I wanna go to boxing or something,” said Jackson on facebook. I wanna do something different. MMA is getting boring to me. Like honestly, Greg Jackson, he’s changing fighters, the sport is f*cking boring as f*ck.”

Is it really boring Rampage or is it just because you suck now? Be honest. Rampage is always looking for attention whether it’s running his mouth or making a “rape” video on youtube and it looks like he is getting more attention as I write this article.

Well Rampage, you wanted attention and here it is. You are a washed up fighter whose only strength was talking crap and throwing haymakers that you launched from grandma’s house with your eyes shut. Yeah you were good when you fought Chuck Liddell and Wanderlai Silva. A time when your opponents just launched a barrage of punches waiting for someone to get knocked out. If you actually cared about the sport you would of took your job seriously and evolved with it, not making excuses like becoming a boxer.

Look at Chris Leben. He used to do the same thing until he realized that it’s called mma for a reason. Plus boxing is more complex than just throwing punches, it’s a sport too Rampage. Yeah I said sport, like actual work. They train hard, again I said train which entitles you to actually work. If Rampage can’t goof around in training, eat some cupcakes, barely make weight and just throw bombs, then you can expect to at least hear his loud ass mouth and lame opinions.

I personally couldn’t wait for Glover to run through him and send him packing. Then all you so called Rampage fans can watch a former UFC champion get smashed in the boxing ring or show up next to King Mo Lawal in the TNA wrestling promotion.

Rampage would make a great televised wrestler. He should talk to Brock about that, then he could go in there and talk crap, fake actual mma moves, and basically just be there for looks. He loves to be in front of the camera and is a horrible actor, so why not be a wrestler?

The UFC isn’t becoming boring, we are just done with the clown show put on by you Jackson. So, since we obviously know that you will never grow up, I say good riddance to a once popular fighter who is just a joke now a days.

These opinions are of mine and no one elses.
