Today, Chad Rowan aka Akebono Taro, passed away at age 54. Akebono was the first foreign born Yokozuna or grand champion in sumo and won a total of 11 yusho, or tournaments over the course of his career. After his sumo career, he went onto have a pro-wrestling career. Winning various title, including three world championships.
