Alright fans, it’s that time again to get you caught up on all the mma headlines you might have missed this past weekend. Hopefully everyone had a great weekend with their families and friends and had a wonderful Thanksgiving, I know I did.

It’s a big week for mma, but we all know that the biggest talk right now is all about the potential “super fight” between Anderson Silva and GSP. There are a lot of fans that want to see this fight and a tone who thinks it’s a waste of time. Plus, not too mention that Johny Hendricks has earned his welterweight title shot and Nick Diaz is on his way back.

Everyone wants to see Silva/GSP or Silva/Jones, but super fights are pointless in my opinion cause all it does is bewilder the competition in those weight-classes and neglect the fact that weight divisions have number one contenders.

Johnny Hendricks is 9-1 in the UFC and has recently ran through top contenders Jon Fitch, Josh Koscheck and Martin Kampmann. Hendricks shouldn’t have to beat Diaz or Condit (guys who are coming off losses), he is the number one contender and should get the next shot at GSP, even though we all know he probably won’t.
