Alright MMA-Freak fans, it’s that time again! Time to get you caught up on all or any mma news you might have missed this past weekend. Grab your morning coffee or your after work beverage and let’s get you all caught up.

Hope everyone had a awesome fight weekend. GSP beat Diaz via unanimous (shocker, I know), but Hendricks made it clear who was the new number one contender. Condit and Hendricks put on an great fight and really delivered for the fans.

Diaz looked bland in his fight, but requested a rematch that we all know won’t happen, and was very lively during the post fight presser that he wasn’t even going to show up too in the first place. Though Diaz was action packed on the mic in a way we all have never seen before.

Dana White on Matt Riddle,“We’re not cutting wrestlers,” White said. “And everyone’s going to have an excuse for why they were cut. Matt Riddle did an interview before that fight where he said, ‘I smoke weed so I don’t beat my children.’ Then he tests positive for it. He’s a f—ing moron. That’s why he’s not in the UFC. He’s a moron.”

Nick Diaz: “I can’t be jumping teams,” Diaz told MMAjunkie.com. “I just have to do the best with what I have. You know what? I’ve never paid taxes in my life, no joke. And no one wants to hear that kind of talk and what’s going on with me. I might as well just be a kid. I’ve had fight after fight after fight after fight, and you don’t know what that does to somebody who didn’t graduate high school. Take it into consideration for a second what three fights a year will do to you your whole life. And the only time you have some time off, it’s not like it’s a vacation – everybody’s telling you you’re this piece of s—, you’re suspended, you ain’t fighting this guy, you ain’t fighting that guy, you have to come back and dance around a bunch of hard hitting people. It’s a rough sport.”

Jake Ellenberger: “I’m not really sure right now,” Ellenberger said. “I was just so focused on Nate Marquardt tonight and winning the fight. I’ve never turned down anyone in the UFC. Anyone they’ve put me against, I’ve matched up. I’m focusing on that title shot myself.”

Dana White: “If [Weidman] wants to give him (Silva) a rematch if he beats him, I’m sure people would want to see it,” White said. “I talked to Chris Weidman myself, and he looked me right in the eye and said, ‘I’m telling you, I apologize that I’m going to f— up your superfights and be your next champion. But what I will do for you is I’ll give him an immediate rematch in Madison Square Garden as soon as he loses.’ “It’s verbatim what the guy said to me.”

Fallon Fox: “I don’t believe a transgender fighter should have to disclose her personal medical history to other female fighters before they fight,” she said. “It’s simply for the reason the medical community and the scientific community have come to the consensus that post-operative transsexual fighters who have been on hormone-replacement therapy and testosterone suppression, when they’re going from male to female, haven’t been found to have any physiological advantages over other women. So why should we have to disclose our personal medical history?”
