Urijah Faber had another shot to finally hold UFC gold, and again could not make this dream come true. Faber was once again defeated by Renan Barao. This time it was by TKO in the first round.
Barao just looks unstoppable at this point. This time it seems to have a bit of controversy attached unfortunately though. Was the fight called prematurely?
Was Faber defending himself? Should he have tried to escape instead of putting his thumb up? Would the crowd have rioted if Steve Mazzagatti made the call instead of Herb Dean?
