Bellator Fighting Championships has announced tryout dates for its upcoming first installment of their reality based show which much like that of their biggest competitor (the UFC), they will search out the top fighting prospects in North America.

The show will air on Spike TV which by 2013 will become the new home of Bellator. Viacom the media powerhouse that owns the MTV2 where Bellator currently airs its live cards is also the owner of their soon to be new home Spike TV.

They purchased a stake in Bellator back in 2011 and shortly there after announced Bellator would make the move over to Spike come 2013.

We are still awaiting full details on how the format of the show will be played out but what we do know is that tryouts will be held on Nov. 10 at the American Top Team gym in Coconut Creek, Florida from 8am to 4pm EST.

Candidates looking to make their way to Florida for the tryout must adhere to a few guidelines in order to be eligible. The tryouts are open to any fighter in both the lightweight (155lb.) and welterweight (170lb.) divisions. You must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of three professional fights on your record with a winning percentage above .500.
