Undefeated (5-0) MMA prospect and former boxing champion Holly Holm is coming off a recent win, and already has her next opponent booked.

Holm’s boxing is on another level and recently scored a knockout of Nikki Knudsen via body punches this past weekend at Legacy FC. Her next fight will be against Angela Hayes who has complied a record of 6-6 since going pro.

Hayes at age 40, has won five of her past six bouts. She hasn’t competed professionally in nearly two years. She rebounded from a Cage Warriors Fight Night 2 loss to Aisling Daly with a submission victory over Trisha Clark at “NMEF: Annihilation 36.”

The bout, part of a Fresquez Productions show, takes place at Route 66 Casino Hotel in Albuquerque, N.M.

Holm is one of the best female prospects in mma. She went 33-2-3 during her pro boxing career and announced a full-time move to MMA earlier this year. In her promotional debut at Legacy FC 21 in July, she scored a second-round knockout via head kick against Allanna Jones when the boxer showed her versatility via kicks.

All of her MMA wins have come by the way of knockout. Holm trains at the JacksonWinkeljohn camp in Albuquerque and is ready to get back in there and knock more woman out.

Legacy FC promoter Mick Maynard told MMAjunkie.com that Holm is then expected to return to his promotion for a fight in March 2014. The fight executive has had a tough time finding opponents for Holm and said more than 40 women turned down this past weekend’s fight before Knudsen ultimately accepted it.

Holm is one of the most feared female fighters out there, and rightfully so. Her skills keep improving. One thing is for sure, when you are in there with Holm, keep your hands up and your chin down, unless you want your night to end.
