The first Team Joanna training session following the second team loss, Joanna Jedrzejczyk has the team work on sprawls. However, she later gets frustrated at them and goes on a rant talking about her training for a Muay Thai Championship and how she felt they were “training like pussies”.
When the team gets back to the house they do a huddle and team chant to which Myron Dennis’ opponent Andrew Sanchez believes they are trying to get into his head, but he doesn’t fall for it.
Later in the evening Claudia Gadelha and her coaches come by the house and cook Brazilian barbecue for all of the members of the house.
In between training sessions at home, Andrew relaxes and plays his ukelele and explains how he leads a stress free lifestyle. He also talks about how he is light for a light heavyweight, walking around at around 200 pounds.
Khalil Rountree decides to play a joke and dressed in the stripped referee shirt used during his doughnut eating contest and starts blowing a whistle when Team Claudia doesn’t get out of the gym on time. They don’t take it seriously and when Joanna walks in she starts kicking the pads around and feels disrespected and throws a temper tantrum.
Dennis later on has dinner with a picture of his fiance and talks about how she loves her and how she got pregnant shortly after the tryouts for that season of the show. He also talks about how he got married young a divorced his first wife and has his children on the weekends.
Members of both teams later on blow off some steam by playfully throwing water balloons at each other.
Andrew later on talks about how he is having a good time and bonding especially with fellow teammate Amanda Cooper.
At the weigh-ins Myron plays around having one of his teammates spray his beard with water and gives him a mirror with a brush.
The match finally takes place and despite Joanna’s drills to keep Andrew from taking him down, Myron is taken down and Andrew works ground and pound and smothers Myron for the first round.
Round two is very much the same except that Myron is able to keep the fight standing a little longer.
Ultimately the judges see it for Andrew after two rounds, giving Team Claudia their third win.
As a result, Claudia has the match pick and decides to match her team’s Lanchana Green against Team Joanna’s Helen Harper.
