The episode opens up with Abdel Medjedoub continuing to deal with the drama between himself and his wife and Dana White brings him into his office.
White offers Abdel a phone call to his wife and insists that Abdel return home, leaving Abdel in a predicament.
Coach Claudia Gadelha walks in and consoles him. Dana offers to fly Abdel home and gives him four days to resolve his issues with his wife. Those in the house are split over whether he will return as members of Team Joanna hope he will leave for good whereas those on Team Claudia hope he will return.
After a Team Joanna training session, Elias Urbina points out his brother on the season 19 jersey on the wall and talks about his time as a fighter with his younger brother also in MMA. He also goes onto talk about how he and Hector Urbina lived in a migrant family and while his mother and father were working in the fields his father always insisted they go to school and participate in wrestling.
Eric Spicely also talks to his teammates about how he won his entry fight on the anniversary of his late girlfriend’s death.
During a training session the next day Khalil Rountree has a sharp pain in his knees from a small case of tendinitis and storms off. Coach Joanna Jedrzejczyk advises Khalil to rest for a few days as he is one of the fighters being considered for Abdel’s open spot should he not return.
Later on some of the guys finally decide to pull a prank on the women in the house and dumps baby powder in the hair dryers.
JJ Aldrich gets sprayed and replies getting some of the other girls to dump baby powder from the balcony onto the guys in the hot tub.
The guys even prank each other when Myron Dennis grabs Khalil from under the bed and Khalil pranks Myron by hiding in the shower and jumping out at Myron when he goes to the bathroom.
Immediately before the next fight, Abdel returns and announces that everything is good back at home and that he is home for good.
Round one consists of Eric attempting to take down Elias and is reversed. He then attempts multiple submissions before finally reversing Elias and riding him out for the remainder of the round. Then in round two he takes Elias down again and rides him out for the decision victory.
The next fight as announced is Amanda Cooper facing Team Joanna’s Jamie Moyle.
