Please note that due to inactivity Jon Jones and Anthony Pettis are ineligible for the rankings this month:
Top 10 P4P Fighters (2/4/16)
1) Demetrious Johnson (1)
Demetrious Johnson is now officially set to face Henry Cejudo at UFC 197 next month in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Olympic gold medalist might in face be Johnson’s greatest challenge at the present considering their skill levels.
2) Robbie Lawler (2)
There is no news as to when Robbie Lawler will most likely fight next but the ideas that he will face Conor McGregor have certainly been put to rest with McGregor’s loss to Nate Diaz last night who is a lightweight.
3) Rafael dos Anjos (3)
Rafael dos Anjos unfortunately broke his foot training for his fight against Conor McGregor. Since McGregor has been defeated by lightweight Nate Diaz the chances of defending against McGregor are extremely low.
4) Daniel Cormier (4)
The grudge match between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones is now set for next month at UFC 197 on April 23rd. There’s a big question as to whether Cormier can avenge his loss against Jones who never actually lost his title.
5) Fabricio Werdum (5)
Fabricio Werdum is set to defend his title against Stipe Miocic at UFC 198 in Curitiba, Brazil on May 14th. Hopefully both men will come in fully healed and in shape since their last minute attempt fell apart for both reasons.
6) Luke Rockhold (7)
In what might be a questionable decision, Luke Rockhold will be defending his title in an immediate rematch against Chris Weidman at UFC 199 on June 4th. At the same time this will be the first UFC held in Inglewood.
7) Dominick Cruz (8)
Dominick Cruz will defend his title against Urijah Faber in a rubber match between the two at UFC 199. This match is long overdue as they were supposed to meet four years ago at the conclusion of The Ultimate Fighter 15.
8) T.J. Dillashaw (9)
There’s no word as to when T.J. Dillashaw will fight next for his rebound but it won’t be an immediate rematch.
9) Conor McGregor (6)
Conor McGregor finally fell when he was soundly defeated by Nate Diaz yesterday at UFC 196 in Las Vegas, Nevada. McGregor was clearly caught off guard by Diaz’s ability to take a punch and dish one out in tern.
10) Jose Aldo (10)
At the present there’s no word as to when Jose Aldo will be fighting next or against whom he will be fighting.
Honorable Mentions
Chris Weidman, Cain Velasquez, Cristiane Justino, Johny Hendricks, Miesha Tate, Nate Diaz
